At the :20 mark fearless competitive eating champion Takeru Kobayashi finally clears up a question on his Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) that nobody we know of has been asking. He states, "I am not gay - I'm Japanese." He clearly also has the American custom down of following up a gay denial with the always sincere 'Not that there's anything wrong with that'.
